Miter is operations software for interior design studios. A studio puts its projects, budgets, clients and suppliers into it, and this describes what happens to that information.
What we store
Your account. Your name and email address. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture, and we use them only to identify you — nothing is read from your Google account beyond that, and we never post anything to it.
Your studio’s work. Everything you enter: projects, rooms, budget lines, proposals, suppliers, purchase orders, notes, tasks and the files you upload. This is your studio’s data. We treat it as yours.
Email sent to a project address. If you use a project’s inbox address, the messages sent there and their attachments are stored against that project so the record of a job stays in one place.
Who can see it
People in your studio. Nobody in another studio, ever — each studio’s data is separated, and that separation is enforced at the database rather than left to application code.
When you send a client or a supplier a share link, whoever holds that link can see that one document. Links can be revoked. Uploaded files are never public: they are served through Miter, which checks each request, rather than from a storage bucket that would hand out permanent access to anyone with the URL.
Services we rely on
Hosting and the database run on Vercel and Supabase, in the United States. Outbound email goes through Resend. Anonymous, aggregate page-view counts come from Vercel Analytics. When you use the assistant, the text of that request is sent to Anthropic to answer it.
We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to train models.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your studio’s data for as long as the account is open. Ask us to delete it and we will, along with the uploaded files. Some of it may sit in encrypted backups for a short period afterwards before those rotate out.
Asking us anything
Write to hello@miter.studio to see what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or have it removed.
